Matt Knightly

Senior Matt Knightly is playing his second varsity season with the Knights. The 5'10", 180 lb. forward has been playing hockey for fourteen years, and also plays for the Perinton AAA Midget Major Travel Team.

His favorite school subjects are Math and History.

Matt's favorite college hockey team is the Michigan Wolverines, while his favorite pro team is the Buffalo Sabres. His favorite hockey player is former Knight Kelly Sloan, who is playing Junior B hockey.

"Pineapple Express" is Matt's favorite movie. "Scrubs" and "How I Met your Mother" are his favorite tv shows. Matt's favorite book are the Harry Potter series and sunflower seeds are his favorite snack.

Rugby, golf, the Mighty Ducks, body building and hanging out with friends are things he likes to do when not playing hockey. Matt also enjoyed traveling to Germany this past summer to play hockey.

He would one day like to be a college professor or a doctor.
